Wellness Retreat - Grafton
As wellness practitioners both Skye & I (Lalita) are dedicated to not only teaching a holistic approach to health and wellness but inspiring, empowering and encouraging others to take responsibility to learn more about themselves, become more conscious/aware, peaceful, connected and ultimately happy. Through our own experiences, this is a journey or experience that needs constant nurture and guidance. So please join us in a two and half hour retreat - a self-care Saturday dedicated to healing, resting and rejuvenating your body and mind.
Throughout your retreat, we'll be introducing you to Ayurveda, Ayurvedic diet, specific yoga poses for your dosha (constitution), meditation techniques, and a hearty healthy meal! The goal throughout the retreat is for you to explore areas you want to improve on within yourself and to use the modalities above as tools to better yourself, so whenever you're feeling off-kilter you know what to do about it! But don't worry, we're here to guide you every step of the way.
Yoga and Ayurveda are considered to be sister sciences, as they are meant to be practiced together. Yoga is the study of spirit; a science meant to cleanse the heart so that we may awaken to the truth of who we really are. Ayurveda is the study of matter, guiding us towards understanding the nature of this world and all of the energies at play. Practiced together, Yoga and Ayurveda guide us on how to live in this world that’s made up of matter while staying connected to our soul.
